Fonda squeaked by Broadalbin-Perth 46-37 in a Class B sectional tilt. Jackson Cusack played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the Braves leading the way with 20 points. Fonda advances to play Catholic Central in the quarter final round at HVCC on Saturday 2/26.
The Braves stormed out of the locker room and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 11-5. They relied on their stout defense and were in command during the frame.
The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half break with Fonda out in front.
The Braves used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Broadalbin-Perth by 6 points.
Fonda were in control at each quarter stoppage by plus 6, 3, 9, & 9.
Jackson Cusack led Fonda with 20 points. Nick Hastings added 12 points. Colin Kowalski dropped 9 points.
The Braves drained 8 baskets from behind the three point line.

Ryan Savoie was a catalyst for the Patriots with 18 points. Mariano DiCaterino secured 5 points.
