The Bushmen dropped a decision to the Mighty Warriors by 15 points, 61-46, in a first-rate Capital Region basketball collision. This non-league match up was part of the Kirvin Cup tournament held at Mohonasen High School.
Mohonasen used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Pine Bush by 9 points.
Pine Bush clawed back in the final quarter but the seconds ticked away hurting any chance of a comeback.
Mohonasen managed to be ahead at every period ending horn by margins of 5, 12, 21, & 15.
The Mighty Warriors placed three players in double figure scoring. Duncan Tallman, Chase Monroe and Drew Coelho paced the Mighty Warriors with 13 points. Nicholas Richmond accumulated 9 points.
The Mighty Warriors knocked down 9 trey balls.
Drew Coelho made 3 three-pointers.
Linton led Pine Bush with 15 points. Jones scored 10 points.

The Mighty Warriors raced ahead after two quarters 32-20. The Mighty Warriors played well in the second frame turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 12-point halftime bulge.
