Hoosic Valley notched a victory over Canajoharie 63-47 in a Class CC sectional game. The Indians move on to play the top seeded Warriors of Stillwater on 3/1 in Glens Falls.
Hoosic Valley secured the win in great form as they outscored the Cougars by 5-points in crunch time.
The Indians used an impressive first eight minutes and bolted out to a hefty first quarter lead 17-7. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and imposed their will in the quarter.

Hoosic Valley had a quartet of players in double figure scoring. Isaiah Eckler paced Hoosic Valley with 16 points. Logan Reilly knocked down 13 points. Tyler Eddy had 13 points. Chris Jones finished with 13 points. Lane Carner powered in 8 points.

The Indians shot excellent from the free throw line as they produced 65.5%, 19 of 29.
