Fort Plain grabbed the win over Berne-Knox 72-56 in a Class C semi-final contest. Levi Thomas and Robert Jordan combined to score 49 points for the victors. Jordan also added an eye popping 21 rebounds. The Hilltoppers move on to the Class C Championship game on Friday night in Glens Falls versus the winner of Maple Hill and Duanesburg.
Fort Plain well in the second quarter turning a 4-point first quarter lead into a 10-point halftime bulge. Giving them their biggest quarter margin of the night and a cushion at the break.
The Hilltoppers were in front at every quarter buzzer by advantages of 4, 10, 13, & 16.
Levi Thomas helped the cause for Fort Plain with 25 points. Robert Jordan secured 24 points.
The Hilltoppers shot outstanding from the charity stripe as they made 84.2%, 16 of 19.
