Averill Park cruised past Catholic Central 77-50 in a Class A semi-final tilt. Amelia Wood and Taylor Holohan combined to score 46 points for the Warriors. Averill Park will play Burnt Hills on 3/5 at HVCC for the sectional title.

Averill Park were charged up from the opening whistle and played excellent team basketball on their way to an ample first quarter lead 23-9.

The Warriors jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 38-26.

Averill Park capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Catholic Central by 16 points.

The Warriors were on top at all quarter stoppage by plus 14, 12, 28, & 27.

Averill Park placed three in double figure scoring. Amelia Wood showed the way for the Warriors with 24 points. Taylor Holohan contributed 22 points. Michelina Lombardi totaled 15 points.

The Crusaders had a triad in double figure scoring. Tanavia Turpin helped the cause for Catholic Central with 14 points. Brenna Graber powered in 11 points. Gabriella Di Bacco poured in 10 points. Hope Wilk tallied 7 points. El Dior Dobere sank 6 points.
The Crusaders produced 5 hoops from long range.
Gabriella Di Bacco nailed 3 three-pointers.
