Hartford hung on vs. Saratoga Catholic 73-63 in the Class D title contest. Gabrielle McFarren was a force on the offensive end of the floor for the winners leading the way with 21 points. The Tanagers rode the coattails of their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final horn.
Saratoga Catholic held a slight 1-point advantage at the beginning of the second stanza.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half recess with Hartford nosing in front.
