OESJ won a cliff-hanger versus Northville 52-45 in what turned out to be a terrific Class D championship game.
OESJ generated a game changing eight-minute run as they ground out a victory versus Northville 19-12 by the conclusion of the frame. That burst enabled them to celebrate the outcome.
OESJ used an impressive first eight minutes and played excellent team basketball on their way to a hefty first quarter lead 11-5. They used their incredible defensive prowess and played with great enthusiasm throughout the frame.
The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half intermission with OESJ nudging ahead.
The two squads refused to give ground through three quarters as the score was tied at 33.
OESJ had a trio in double figure scoring. Owen Feagles sparked the offense for the Wolfpack with 15 points. Colten Christensen powered in 14 points. Hunter Smith finished with 11 points. Paetyn Logan-Dillenbeck dropped 8 points.
The Wolfpack produced 4 baskets from long distance.
Hunter Smith nailed 3 three-pointers.
