Mayfield notched a victory over Galway 47-28 in a hard fought Capital Region basketball match up .
The Panthers played well in the second period turning a 4-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime lead.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Galway by 9 points.
Mayfield were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 4, 9, 18, & 19.
The Panthers placed three players in double figure scoring. Brianna Hubiak paced the Panthers with 13 points. Lindsey Hampton powered in 12 points. Kelsey Meca collected 10 points. Katie LaGrange had 7 points.
The Panthers connected on 5 hoops from long range.
