Albany Academy edged Mekeel Christian 73-62 in a hard fought Capital Region basketball tilt . Fans could not have been disappointed as the contest lived up to its pre-game expectation. Keyshuan Tillery was putting 'em on skates for the Cadets going off for 37 points.
The Cadets held a small 2-point lead at the beginning of the second stanza.

Albany Academy maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Mekeel Christian by 8 points.
The Cadets were in command at every period ending horn by advantages of 2, 6, 14, & 11.

The Lions had a triplet in double figure scoring. Zahki Fallen helped the cause for the Lions with 24 points. Will Radcliff splashed in 20 points. Joey Roddy knocked down 13 points.
