Mekeel Christian won a cliff-hanger versus Niskayuna 63-61 in a long awaited tilt from around the region. Mekeel Christian success was built on their tenacious second half play as they led at the end of the third quarter and at the culminating buzzer.

Niskayuna held a slim 3-point margin at the start of the second quarter.

The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half intermission with the game tied 25-25.

Mekeel Christian utilized excellent teamworkcoming out of the half, after the game being played to even across the board at the half, and snatched the lead 45-39 bearing down on the last quarter.

Mekeel Christian had a triplet in double figure scoring. Joey Roddy, Zahki Fallen and Christian Jahnel showed the way for the Lions with 16 points each. Will Radcliff sank 9 points.

Niskayuna placed four players in double figure scoring. Darian Parker sparked the offense for the Silver Warriors with 21 points. Owen Evans racked up 12 points. Gabe Eldaye poured in 12 points. Jack Allen had 11 points.
