The Eagles took the loss vs. Mayfield by 39 points 60-21, in WAC play. Cloey Dopp and Jaidyn Chest combined to score 43 points for the Panthers.
The Panthers were strong out of the gate and took hold of the ball game on their way to a generous first quarter lead 23-5. They denied access to their hoop like a fortress and imposed their will in the quarter.
The Panthers used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Galway by 4 points.
Mayfield asserted their dominance and led at all quarter buzzers by splits of (+) 18, 27, 31, & 39.
Cloey Dopp helped the cause for Mayfield with 24 points. Jaidyn Chest scored 19 points. Abigail Chest poured in 7 points.
The Panthers used expert marksmanship to make 6 hoops from deep.

Abigail Gullett showed the way for Galway with 9 points. Grace O Brien chipped in 9 points.
