Ballston Spa ruined the day for Stillwater 56-31 in Section 2 basketball play.
The Scotties executed fantastic in the second half as they fired on all cylinders.
Ballston Spa stormed out of the locker room and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 12-1. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and imposed their will in the quarter. Yet, Stillwater had a resurgence in the second quarter and outscored Ballston Spa by 5 points.
The Scotties used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Stillwater by 10 points.
Ballston Spa were out in front at all quarter stoppage by advantages of 11, 6, 16, & 25.
The Scotties placed four in double figure scoring. Payton Messina paced Ballston Spa with 12 points. Jess Bowens collected 10 points. Olivia Verdile scored 10 points. Mallory Sprissler notched 10 points.
Riley O Brien was the straw that stirred the drink for the Warriors with 8 points. Miranda Price splashed in 6 points. Addison Thorton poured in 6 points. Charisma Salecker had 5 points.
