The computer rankings are auto-generated based on games played vs Section 2 teams. They are created using the results on the field plus the strength of each team's opponents. Predictions using the numbers are based on if any two teams played a game today. They factor in past results to give each team its overall ranking.
Rankings were compiled using scores from the Capital Region Soccer website and social media. Through 221 tracked Section 2 vs Section 2 games the higher ranked team is listed above their previous opponent's that they beat 96.73% of the time (207-7-7). The retrodictive (past) losses equate to teams either splitting their matchups or an "upset" by one team on that day according to the season long rankings.
