Mt. Anthony seized a down to the wire victory over Hoosick Falls 77-76 in a premier match up played today. Sookdar and Stratton combined to score 44 points for the winners.

The Patriots came up with a final stanza comeback as they surpassed Hoosick Falls 21-20 as time wound down. They survived this tough encounter.

The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half break with Hoosick Falls gaining the upper hand.
Hoosick Falls played sound basketball in the second period turning a 4-point first quarter deficit into a 1-point halftime edge.

The two squads refused to give ground through three quarters as the score was knotted at 56.

The Patriots had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Sookdar helped the cause for Mt. Anthony with 25 points. Stratton poured in 19 points. Thompson scored 18 points.
Mt. Anthony produced 19 hoops from behind the arc.
Sookdar made 7 three-pointers. Stratton added 6. Thompson with 5.

Hoosick Falls placed three players in double figure scoring. Jake Sparks led Hoosick Falls with 31 points. Aiden Fleming splashed in 21 points. Mat Kempf finished with 18 points.
The Panthers knocked down 11 baskets from behind the three point line.
