Mekeel Christian KO'd Shaker 76-37 in Section 2 basketball play. Alex Barnhill led the victors with 27 points.
The Lions were dominant in the second half and collected the victory.
Mekeel Christian used an impressive first eight minutes and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 15-7. They used an extraordinary defensive effort and grabbed control of the frame.

The Lions raced ahead after two quarters 35-15. Mekeel Christian played sound basketball in the second frame turning a 8-point first quarter lead into a 20-point halftime edge.
The Lions used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Shaker by 6 points.
Mekeel Christian were in front at every period ending horn by splits of (+) 8, 20, 26, & 39.
