Tamarac knocked off Mechanicville 75-60 in a tussle between two top teams in Section 2 Class B. Joey Poulin, Zachary Rice and James Blake combined to score 358 points for the winners. The Bengals built on their unwavering second half play as they led at the end of the third frame and at the final flip of the hourglass.
Mechanicville held a slight 3-point advantage at the start of the second quarter.
The Bengals played solid as a rock in the second stanza turning a 3-point first quarter deficit into a 7-point halftime advantage.
