Averill Park lost against the Dutchmen by 2 points 47-45, in an uber competitive game in the Suburban Council. Mitch MacKissock played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the victors leading the way with 24 points.

With the teams tied at the end of regulation play the contest went to overtime where Guilderland outscored Averill Park 5-3. 

That final push proved to be the difference.

Spurned on by a first-class performance in the second half the Dutchmen outscored the Warriors 35-24 in the final two frames and (OT). That was contradictory to the first half when the Warriors darted out to a 21-12 lead at the midway point.

Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for a scant 14 points. Guilderland and Averill Park were all square after one period of play.

The Warriors performed effectively in the second quarter turning a tied game into a 9-point halftime bulge.

Mitch MacKissock helped the cause for the Dutchmen with 24 points. Liam Teague racked up 13 points.

Dan Coiteux led the Warriors with 23 points. Andy McCart knocked down 5 points. Brady Mazzeo tallied 5 points.
Averill Park connected on 8 baskets from long distance.
Dan Coiteux made 7 three-pointers.
