With the teams tied at the end of regulation play the contest went to overtime where Guilderland outscored Averill Park 5-3.
That final push proved to be the difference.
Spurned on by a first-class performance in the second half the Dutchmen outscored the Warriors 35-24 in the final two frames and (OT). That was contradictory to the first half when the Warriors darted out to a 21-12 lead at the midway point.
