Albany Academy coasted to victory over Lansingburgh 70-31 in a Capital Region basketball match up.

The Bears were charged up from the opening whistle and darted in front to gain a decent first quarter lead 24-3. They limited their opponent with a marvelous defensive effort and were in command during the frame.

Lansingburgh trailed 44-17 at the half.

The Bears used a determined effort in the third quarter and outscored Lansingburgh by 10 points.

Albany Academy were in front at each quarter buzzer by plus 21, 27, 37, & 39.

The Bears had a quartet of players in double figure scoring. Saige Randolph showed the way for the Bears with 16 points. Meleena Ottati poured in 13 points. Stylianna Mantzouris had 10 points. Bella Vincent finished with 10 points. Morgan Vien chalked up 8 points.
The Bears manufactored 7 baskets from behind the three point line.
Meleena Ottati made 3 three-pointers.

Tyina Thomas was a catalyst for the Knights with 13 points. Karlie Genevie scored 8 points.
