-After three quarters, in a two point game with fifteen lead changes, the girls Class C NYSPHSAA title game looked like it was headed towards a big finish. That is, until Cambridge used a 9-0 fourth quarter run and held Watkins Glens scoreless for six plus minutes to capture the title 57-43.

-Cambridge held a slim 41-39 lead with just under six minutes left in the game when Sophie Phillips hit Stacia Epler for a monster wing three pointer to push the Indians lead to five points, 44-39. The next Cambridge trip down the floor Sophie Phillips again dished off this time to her sister Lilly for a lay-in to extend the margin and help seal the victory.

-Cambridge placed three players in double figure scoring led by Sophie Phillip's game high 24 points. Stacia Epler nailed 3 three pointers on her way to 14 points and McKayla McLenithan chipped in with 10 points.

-Watkins Glen had three players in double figure scoring as well led by Adrienna Solomon and Danielle Leszyk with 11 points. Taylor Kelly added 10 points.
