Gloversville pulled away from Amsterdam 75-61 in a high energy Section 2 hoop competition. Dante Bouchard and Joseph Rowback combined to score 55 points for the victors.


Gloversville had great energy right from the tip off and started the game in style racing to a decent first quarter lead 21-6. They put together an imposing defense and took control of the quarter.
The Dragons opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 42-21.

Gloversville played sound basketball in the second quarter turning a 15-point first quarter lead into a 21-point halftime lead.

Amsterdam cut into the lead in the final quarter but they ran out of time.
The Dragons were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 15, 21, 20, & 14.

Gloversville placed three players in double figure scoring. Dante Bouchard led the Dragons with 33 points. Joseph Rowback powered in 22 points. Julien Deumaga added 13 points.
The Dragons used expert marksmanship to make 8 trey balls.
Dante Bouchard nailed 5 three-pointers.
Gloversville shot with sterling accuracy from the charity stripe as they produced 78.9%, 15 of 19.

Kevin Perez paced Amsterdam with 20 points. Caydren Graveley contributed 11 points.
Amsterdam connected on 4 baskets from long distance.
The Rams shot with superb accuracy from the free throw line as they made 78.6%, 11 of 14.
