Maple Hill edged Duanesburg 53-45 in a non-league game at the Coaches vs. Cancer event at Hudson Valley Community College.
In a game that featured two serious scoring runs from both teams, the Wildcats rallied late as they out-shot the Eagles 19-6 in the final quarter to grab the win. That was after Duanesburg scored the final seventeen points in the third quarter take the lead after being down 34-22 mid-way through the frame.
Duanesburg held a slim 1-point margin at the beginning of the second stanza.
The Wildcats played solid as a rock in the second quarter turning a 1-point first quarter deficit into a 10-point halftime edge.
