Mohonasen took care of business versus Schenectady 65-32 in the opening round of the Kirvin Cup in Schenectady. Isabella Petrocci played like a person on a mission for the Mighty Warriors stepping up big-time with 24 points. Mohonasen takes on Guilderland tomorrow for the title.

The Mighty Warriors dominated the first half and led 34-15.

Mohonasen performed well in the second period turning a 4-point first quarter lead into a 19-point halftime upper hand.

The Mighty Warriors asserted their dominance and led at each quarter stoppage by leads of 4, 19, 26, & 33.

Mohonasen placed three players in double figure scoring. Isabella Petrocci led the Mighty Warriors with 24 points. Isabella Clute poured in 13 points. Payton Whipple bagged 13 points.

Scotia were cut down versus Guilderland by 19 points 56-37, in the opening round of the Kirvin Cup tournament at Mohonasen. Guilderland moves on to face the host team, Mohonasen, tomorrow evening.

The Lady Dutch bolted from opening whistle and darted in front to gain a decent first quarter lead 14-8.

The end result was still uncertain as the teams went to the first half intermission with Guilderland nudging ahead.

The Lady Dutch used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Scotia by 11 points. After the game was tied at 22 in the third periord, Guilderland pulled away closing the game on 34-15 run.

The Lady Dutch were out in front at all frame finishes by separations of 6, 4, 15, & 19.

The Lady Dutch placed three players in double figure scoring. Brooke Lilley paced Guilderland with 16 points. Vivian Timmons powered in 13 points. Christina Williams collected 12 points.

Averill Park chalked up a victory against Our Lady Lourdes 70-39 in non-league action. Kayleigh Ahern sparked the attack for the group that came out on top with 22 points.

The Warriors stormed out of the locker room and sprinted out to a generous first quarter lead 16-7.

Lourdes lost ground 32-17 at the half.

The Warriors were out in front at all frame closures by advantages of 9, 15, 24, & 31.
