Fonda lost against Mechanicville by 23 points, 47-24, at the Impact Athletic Center.

The Red Raiders were charged up from the opening whistle and sprinted out to a significant first quarter lead 17-8.

Mechanicville found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 29-11. The Red Raiders performed effectively in the second stanza turning a 9-point first quarter lead into a 18-point halftime edge.

Fonda played well in the third quarter, at one point closing the gap to 11 points, but Mechanicville finished the frame strong.

The Red Raiders were in command at all period ending horn by separations of 9, 18, 17, & 23.

Chloe Goverski took control of the offense for the Red Raiders with 16 points. Hailie Phelps got in the book with 12 points. Allie Kenyon poured in 6 points. Lila Christensen had 6 points.
The Red Raiders shot outstanding from the charity stripe as they produced 70.6%, 12 of 17.

Duanesburg punched their ticket to the Class C NYSPHSAA title game as they held off Frewsburg, 54-51. The Eagles take on Moravia tomorrow at HVCC at 5:15 p.m.

The teams were tied after one quarter at 14.
 
Duanesburg used their aggressive defense in the passing lanes and opened up a 30-21 lead a the half. They turned over Frewsburg 12 times in the first half.
 

Each team scored 18 each in the third period as Duanesburg led 48-39 headed to the final frame. The Eagles were ahead by as many as twelve points in the second half.

Frewsburg scored the first nine points of the quarter to tie the game at 48 with 6:00 remaining. Hannah Mulhern scored the next six points, the only points the Eagles scored in the last period, to open up a 54-48 lead with 1:23 left in the game. Frewsburg's Jadyn Trocki scored on a three point play with just over a minute to go and cut their deficit to three points, 54-51. After a loose ball/jump ball, with possession going to the Lady Bears, Frewsburg had a chance to tie the game but missed a well guarded shot as time expired.

Allison O'Hanlon scored a game high 21 points, Alex Moses added 12, and Hannah Mulhern 8 points.

Frewsburg was led by by Abery Harvey with 15, Taytum Jimerson netted 10 points.

Burnt Hills tripped up Niskayuna 54-28 at the Impact Athletic Center on Wednesday. Carlie Rzeszotarski played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the Spartans with a game high 22 points.

Burnt Hills held a modest 3-point edge going into the second frame. The Spartans stretched their lead out and found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 29-13.

The Spartans were in command at all quarter stoppage by advantages of 3, 16, 21, & 26.

Carlie Rzeszotarski put forth a strong offensive game for the Spartans with 22 points. Mary Katherine Lescault racked up 9 points. Grace O Connor added 8 points. Callie Chevalier scored 7 points.

Olivia O Meally paced the Silver Warriors with 10 points. Kathleen Birmingham netted 6 points. Ashley Mogavero connected on 5 points. Jackie Reffelt notched 4 points.

Albany Academy pulled away from Cambridge 47-32 in a non-league game at the Impact Athletic Center.

The Bears ended the game in splendid fashion as they got the better of Cambridge by 8-points at the cruicial moment of the contest.

Albany Academy performed well in the second quarter turning a 5-point first quarter lead into a 9-point halftime advantage.
 
Cambridge cut their deficit to six points with less than four minutes left in the game, 38-32, but the Bears stayed strong and closed the game on 9-0 run.

Albany Academy were in command at every period ending horn by leads of 5, 9, 7, & 15.

Meleena Ottati paced Albany Academy with 15 points. Saige Randolph contributed 13 points. Bella Vincent connected on 8 points. Erin Huban notched 7 points.
The Bears connected on 4 baskets from behind the three point line.
