Cohoes closed the opening quarter on a 14-2 run to take a 22-14 lead.
Cohoes doubled up Hudson in the second quarter and led 48-27 at the break. Royal Brown had 27 of his 36 points at the break. Jordan Cunningham had 14 for Hudson at intermission

Catholic Central pulled away in the fourth quarter versus Shaker 55-49 in battle of top girls teams in the area at the Pep Sand Tip Off Classic in Colonie. El Dior Dobere ignited the offense for the Crusaders netting 24 points.
The Crusaders used a critical 10-0 run at the start of the fourth quarter as they surpassed the Blue Bison 16-8 to secure the win. Shaker rallied from a double digit deficit to grab a 41-39 edge after the third period horn.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for only 16 points.
The Crusaders built a 9-point halftime bulge, 25-16.
Offense out shined the defense in the third quarter as the teams combined for 39 total points. Shaker took the game by storm out of the locker room, in the wake of their first half deficit, which enabled them to take the lead 41-39 moving on to the last quarter. The Blue Bison outscored the Crusaders 25-14 in the frame.
Shaker put together a comeback attempt in the second half but it fell just short.
The Crusaders placed three in double figure scoring. El Dior Dobere put forth a strong offensive game for the Crusaders with 24 points. Kristen Foglia registered 13 points. Tanavia Turpin collected 12 points.
