Colonie took down the top seed Shen 60-55 to advance to the Class AAA title game vs Shaker on Monday at HVCC. The Raiders outscored Shen 17-9 in the fourth quarter to complete the upset.
Aliyah Pearson had 16 points for Colonie. GabbyMartin added 10 points.
Gabby and Abby Stuart both had 17 points each for Shen.

The Lady Dutch stormed out of the locker room and sprinted out to a significant first quarter lead 22-6. They relied on their stout pressure defense and were on fire from three point range, making six.
Guilderland found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 40-17.
The young Garnet Raiders regained their footing in the second half being outscored by just three points, 24-21, after the break. Colonie has only one Senior on their 2020-21 roster.
The Lady Dutch were on top at each period closing whistle by splits of (+) 16, 23, 25, & 26.
Valencia Fontenelle-Posson led Guilderland with 27 points. Alexis Martin scored 17 points.
Guilderland used expert marksmanship to make 13 hoops from long range.
Valencia Fontenelle-Posson nailed 5 three-pointers. Alexis Martin with 5.
Kassidy Flayter paced the Garnet Raiders with 10 points. Jayla Tyler collected 7 points. Gabrielle Martin tallied 5 points. Ava Pearson popped in 5 points.

Bethlehem won a battle agains Suburban Council rival Columbia 66-63 in a Class AA semi-final game. The Eagles advance to play the top seed Averill Park at HVCC on Monday at 6:15 p.m.
The Eagles rallied from nine points down in the fourth quarter as they surpassed Columbia 17-11 in the closing minutes. They held off two Columbia attempts to tie the game in the final seconds.
The Blue Devils held a small 3-point lead at the beginning of the fourth quarter. They opened the lead up to nine points 61-52 after a Kendyl Ouimette jumper capping off a 7-0 run with 4:40 left in the contest. Bethlehem fought back and ran off 12 straight points to take a 64-61 lead. The dagger was a Paige Davenport three pointer, with 1:24 left in the game, that gave the Eagles the lead for good.
The Blue Devils rushed out to first quarter lead 18-12. Yet, The Eagles recovered in the second quarter and outscored Columbia by 8 points.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Bethlehem grabbing a slight lead.
The Blue Devils made a charge coming out of the half, after being behind at the half, and snatched the lead 52-49 approaching the end of the final frame.
The Eagles placed four players in double figure scoring. Caroline Davis, Paige Davenport and Kelsey vonWedel registered 14 points each. Katherine Bannigan scored 11 points.
The Eagles knocked down 9 buckets from three point range.
Kelsey vonWedel nailed 4 three-pointers. Paige Davenport with 4.
Bethlehem shot well from the charity stripe as they made good on 78.6%, 11 of 14.
The Blue Devils produced 7 trey balls.
Columbia shot outstanding from the foul line as they attained 84.2%, 16 of 19.

Boys
Maple Hill rallied from a double digit halftime deficit to capture the Class C title, 44-43. The Wildcats clamped down on Duanesburg in the second half outscoring them 27-14. The Eagles, to their credit, played the last two games without star Jeff Mulhern who was out with an injury and battled to the final whistle.
Brady Cole led Maple Hill with 14 points and took home Class C MVP. Jake Fish added 9 points, Nick Novak 7 points.
Jansen Proulx scored 17 points for Duanesburg, Ethan Thompson 16 points..

Stillwater used a 25-11 third quarter to open up a tight contest vs their cross-town rival Mechanicville to win the Class B title, 70-41.
Jaxon Mueller and Lukas Lilac scored 16 points each for the Warriors. Carter Wichelns chipped in with 12 points, James Cocozzo 11. Mueller grabbed 18 rebounds and took home the Class B MVP.
Colin Richardson popped in 17 points for the Red Raiders, Curz Goverski 13 points.

The Warriors took a 15-6 lead after the first quarter, 30-12 at the half, and 44-15 after three quarters.
Kayleigh Ahern led the Warriors with 22 points and Arianna Verardi added 13, Taylor Holohan 9 points.
Olivia O'Meally led in scoring for Niskayuna with 9 points, Natalie Birmingham with 6.
