Bethlehem wins nail-biter vs Shenedehowa.

-In a battle of Suburban Council heavyweights, Bethlehem edged Shenendehowa 48-45. The Eagles built a 12 point 3rd quarter lead sparked by a Michael Ortale slam off an unbelievable hustle play by Justin Barnes and Jake Laclair, but had to survive a late Shen rally for the win.

-After facing its largest deficit of 12 points, Shenedehowa rallied over a 7 minute span to cut the Bethlehem lead to 1 late in the 4th quarter. Bethlehem pushed the lead back to 5 but a bucket by T.J. Sangare and then a steal by Sangare and dish to a cutting Jonathan Ray cut the lead back to 1 with just over a minute left in the game.

-The Bethlehem lead remained at 1 point, 46-45, with 0:17 left in the game and with Shenendehowa in possession holding for the last shot. T.J. Sangare was able to get into the lane with :03 left on the clock but couldn't get the hoop to fall. Shen was forced to foul and Pat Ryan buried two clutch free throws to secure the victory for the Eagles.

-Shen was led in scoring by T.J. Sangare with 13 points and Devin Dzikas added 10 points.

-Bethlehem knocked down 8 three pointers on the night and assisted on an amazing 78.6% of their made field goals. The Eagles were paced by Michael Ortale with 12 points and Erik Salo with 11 points.
