Niskayuna outlasted La Salle 70-66 to claim the Class AA sectional title, their first since 1978. Daniel Smalls and Gavin Olsen combined to score 42 points for the Silver Warriors.

Niskayuna held a slim 2-point margin heading into the second quarter.

The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half recess with Niskayuna grabbing a slight lead.

The Silver Warriors used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored La Salle by 6 points.

The offenses clicked in the fourth quarter as they generated a robust 50 points.

Niskayuna while being tested from the Cadets still led at every frame finish by separations of 2, 2, 8, & 4.

The Silver Warriors placed three in double figure scoring. Daniel Smalls showed the way for Niskayuna with 23 points and was named the tournament MVP. Gavin Olsen added 19 points. Ethan Gilson bagged 15 points. Brady Olsen knocked down 9 points.
Niskayuna drained 8 buckets from beyond the arc.
Ethan Gilson made 5 three-pointers.
The Silver Warriors shot with exceptional form at the foul line as they showed out at 76.9%, 20 of 26.

La Salle had a foursome in double figure scoring. Tra'Dell Faison sparked the attack for the Cadets with 19 points. Daniel McCue secured 14 points. Davon Maloney knocked down 13 points. Emmanuel Karkari-Mensah totaled 10 points.
La Salle drilled 5 buckets from long range.
The Cadets shot with skillful form at the charity line as they churned out 76.5%, 13 of 17.

Catskill knocked off Ichabod Crane 47-29 in a hard fought non-league contest. Janay Brantley played expectionally well on the attacking side of the floor for the winners popping in 26 points. The Cats came roaring out of the locker room after the break and outscored the Riders 15-2 to open a comfortable margin after a close first half. They used a smothering defense to help ignite the run.

Catskill held a small 2-point lead at the start of the second quarter.
Defense reigned supreme in the 2nd quarter as the teams scored merely 12 points. Catskill played solid as a rock in the second frame turning a 2-point first quarter lead into a 6-point halftime edge.
 
Ichabod Crane started to feel more comfortable on the offensive end in the fourth quarter as they won the frame 16-15.

Catskill managed to be ahead at each period ending horn by splits of (+) 2, 6, 19, & 18.

Janay Brantley paced Catskill with 26 points. Hannah Konsul powered in 6 points. Aaliyah Shook netted 6 points.
The Cats buried 6 trey balls.
Janay Brantley nailed 4 three-pointers.

Ashley Ames led the Riders with 11 points. Carolina Williams netted 10 points. Delaney More tallied 8 points.

Catskill outlasted Maple Hill 47-36 in an exciting game between the top two teams in the Patroon Conference. Janay Brantley led the Cats with 21 points.

The Cats had great energy right from the tip off and sprinted out to a nice first quarter lead 11-4. They clamped down on the Wildcats with a superb defensive effort and were in the drivers seat throughout the period. Catskill playing with only seven players lost Jayden Lewis less than ten seconds into the game as she hurt her leg after scoring the opening basket of the contest. 

Maple Hill did an excellent job defending Catskill's Janay Brantley holding her scoreless for the first twelve plus minutes of the game. Brantley averaging thirty points a game entering tonight struggled to find her shot most of the night due to great Wildcat defense.

Maple Hill trailed the entire way but managed to close the gab to six points early in the fourth quarter. However, Janay Brantley made a huge three pointer out of a time out to push the lead back up to 9.

The offenses came to life in the fourth quarter as they generated a net scorching 36 points.
        
The Cats were in control at each quarter buzzer by separations of 7, 9, 9, & 11.
 
The Wildcats turned up the heat in the second half but it was too little too late.

Janay Brantley paced the Cats with 21 points. Hannah Konsul racked up 13 points. Aaliyah Shook finished with 6 points.
Catskill made 5 hoops from deep.
Janay Brantley nailed 3 three-pointers.
The Cats shot with first-rate accuracy from the charity stripe as they produced 70%, 14 of 20.

Sophia Chevrier led the Wildcats with 20 points. Alyssa Martin collected 6 points. Rebecca Hall had 4 points. Rachael Frazier sank 4 points.
Maple Hill buried 6 buckets from beyond the arc.

Hannah Mulhern led the Eagles with 16 points, Allison O'Hanlon 12, and Alex Moses 11.

 Albany Academy continued its dominate run through the sectionals as it beat Mechanicville 59-29 to win back to back Class B titles.

The Bears placed four in double figures with Alex Leonard getting 15 points, Bella Vincent 14, Liana Williams 12 and Eva Gitto 11.

Tanner Eiseman scored 9 points for Mechanicville.

 Catholic Central beat their league rival Holy Names to claim the Class A title, 62-48.

Kristen Foglia connected on five three pointers and scored 23 for the Crusaders. Tanavia Turpin added 19, Gabriella Di Bacco 11.

Sopia Bologna had a game high 26 points for Holy Names, hitting five three pointers.

Green Tech were dominant in taking down top seeeded Colonie in the Class AAA title game, 75-45. Indavier Barnes was an offensive spark for the victors with 20 points. They converted fourteen three pointers as a team.

The Soaring Eagles stormed out of the locker room and took hold of the ball game on their way to a generous first quarter lead 23-9.

Colonie trailed 41-17 at the half.

Green Tech were in front at every quater buzzer by advantages of 14, 24, 27, & 30.

The Soaring Eagles had five players in double figure scoring. Indavier Barnes paced Green Tech with 20 points. U'Mier Graham powered in 15 points. Jasai Eason finished with 15 points. Ramere Brown tallied 13 points and was named tournament MVP. Haisi Mayben accumulated 12 points.
The Soaring Eagles splashed 14 hoops from long range.
