Shenendehowa pulled away in the fourth quarter to knock off a resilient Averill Park squad 66-50 in Suburban Council action. The Warriors were playing without two outstanding players Michelina Lombardi and Taylor Holohan but continued to battle throughout the contest. Kaleigh Montanez and Jillian Huerter combined to score 39 points for the victors.

The Plainsmen ended the game with clutch play as they got the better of Averill Park by 10-points in the fourth quarter. Kaleigh Montanez played a huge role on the offensive end in the late game run as she nailed a three pointer right before the third quarter buzzer and she made Shen's first three baskets of the final frame. Montanez outscored the Warriors 9-2 give the Plainsmen the cushion they needed to expand their lead.

Shenendehowa were charged up from the opening whistle and sprinted out to a nice first quarter lead 15-6. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and were in command during the frame.

Averill Park trailed 32-21 at the half. The Warriors made a nice run during the middle of the second quarter to cut their double digit deficit to four points, 21-17, but Shenendehowa closed the quarter strong.

The Warriors played with purpose in the third quarter and outscored Shenendehowa by 5 points. They got as close as one point 39-38 after a Bailee Lange three pointer late in the frame.

The Plainsmen were in command at all period closing whistle by separations of 9, 11, 6, & 16.

Shenendehowa placed three players in double figure scoring. Kaleigh Montanez showed the way for the Plainsmen with 21 points. Jillian Huerter poured in 18 points. Bri Carey scored 16 points.

Catholic Central prevailed over Lansingburgh 72-53 in a feisty Colonial Council tilt between rivals that are separated by about a mile from each school. Danny Bologna Jr and Nick Riley combined to score 46 points for the victors.

Catholic Central were quick out of the gate to gain a significant first quarter lead 19-11.

The Knights lagged behind 40-19 at the break. The Crusaders knocked down eight first half three pointers in a half that included 30+ fouls called, including technicals on both teams, and a skirmish at mid-court during the second quarter.

The teams played on near even terms in the second half however the Knights couldn't overcome their early deficit.

The Crusaders managed to be ahead at every quarter stoppage by advantages of 8, 21, 19, & 19.

Catholic Central had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Danny Bologna Jr was a sniper for the Crusaders with 25 points. Nick Riley knocked down 21 points. Darien Moore connected on 16 points.
The Crusaders manufactored 13 trey balls.

Lansingburgh placed three in double figure scoring. Wesley McIntyre led the Knights with 13 points. Gabe Baez racked up 12 points. Logan Hardt poured in 11 points. James Oliver connected on 7 points.

Stillwater used a monster run starting in the second quarter, carrying over to the second half, to win the Class B NYSPHSAA title, 59-50. Stillwater last won a state title back in 1988 with their current head coach Bruce Lilac a member of that 88' team.

Marcellus refused to back down as they cut their deficit to four points, 54-50, with 1:52 left in the game after a Will Burnett three pointer from the top of the key. That bucket would be the last points they scored the rest of the contest. Stillwater went 5 of 6 from the free throw line in the last minute to close out the contest.

The Warriors placed three players in double figure scoring. Lukas Lilac led all scorers with 21 points, Kaelan Leak added 12 and Jaxon Mueller 10 points and 12 rebounds.

Marcellus was led by by Will Burnett with 15 points, Mitchell Donegan chipped in with 14.

Hudson outlasted Maple Hill 58-53 in a Patroon Conference tilt. Isaiah Maines and Keith Robinson combined to score 40 points for the Bluehawks. Hudson rallied from a first half deficit and closed the game out strong winning the fourth quarter after holding a two point lead heading into the final frame.

The Bluehawks outscored Maple Hill 32-21 in the final two quarters. They flipped the script of the first half when Maple Hill darted out to a 32-26 lead at the midway point.

The Wildcats performed well in the second frame turning a 4-point first quarter deficit into a 6-point halftime advantage. Maple Hill's Ben Marra ignited the rally by scoring ten points in the quarter and the Wildcat's team defense was stifling during an 11-0 run for the Wildcats.

Hudson put forth a team first approach that provided a spark coming out of the half, in the wake of their first half deficit, and took the lead 45-43 bearing down on the final quarter. Keith Robinson connected on three triples in the quarter to help take the lead.

The Bluehawks had a trio in double figure scoring. Isaiah Maines led the Bluehawks with 21 points. Keith Robinson got in the book with 19 points. Jordan Cunningham accounted for 11 points.
