Catskill rallied from a double digit second half deficit and hung on for the win over Maple Hill 51-48. 

Maple Hill jumped out to a 15-10 lead after one period and were ahead 26-21 at the halftime break. 

An Addison Loszynski bucket, early in the third quarter, pushed the Wildcat cushion to 11 points, 33-22. After a timeout Catskill responded with a 7-0 run and after a pair of Alessia Salierno three pointers the game was tied at 35 each in the closing minutes of the frame. Maple Hill was in front 39-37 going into the fourth quarter.

Catskill opened the final stanza on a 10-2 run as they turned up the defensive intensity grabbing a 47-41 lead midway through the quarter. However, Maple Hill hung around and forced a critical turnover with three seconds left, trailing 51-48, to give themselves a chance to force overtime. Catskill didn't allow a shot after the ball was inbounded to claim the victory.

Alessia Salierno paced Catskill with 20 points, Ava Edmond added 15 points, Caty Cummings chipped in with 10 points.

Maple Hill was led by Addison Loszynski's 26 points. Rosilee Forrest netted 9 points.

Greenwich beat Berne-Knox 58-31 in Class C semi-final action. Adrianna Rojas led the way for the Witches going off for 18 points. Greenwich move on to play Duanesburg for the Class C title on 3/5 at HVCC.

The Witches stormed out of the locker room and bolted out to an ample first quarter lead 21-6. They limited their opponent with a splendid defensive effort and imposed their will in the quarter. They scored the first twelve points of the contest and never looked back.

Greenwich jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 36-16.

The Witches maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Berne-Knox by 10 points.

Greenwich were on top at every period ending horn by margins of 15, 20, 30, & 27.

The Witches placed three in double figure scoring. Adrianna Rojas paced Greenwich with 18 points. Norah Niesz knocked down 15 points. Grace Autiello tallied 12 points. Cate Abate popped in 8 points.
Greenwich drained 8 hoops from behind the arc.
Norah Niesz made 4 three-pointers. Grace Autiello added 3.

Alexis Wright took control of the offense for Berne-Knox with 18 points. Grace Tymchyn got in the book with 5 points. McKenzie Schwenk added 4 points.

Duanesburg were locked in from the tip and knocked off previously unbeaten Corinth, 66-23, in a Class C semi-final matchup. The Eagles advance to the title game versus Greenwich on 3/5 at HVCC. Corinth finishes with an impressive 23-1 record on the season.

Duanesburg stormed out of the locker room and sprinted out to a nice first quarter lead, 16-0. They used a lock down mentality protecting their basket and imposed their will in the quarter. Their effort seemed relentless at times keeping a good Corinth team from even being able to set up their offense.

The Tomahawks fell behind by a score of 32-4 at the half.

Duanesburg used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Corinth by 23 points.

The Eagles were on top at all period ending horn by separations of 16, 28, 51, & 43.

Madison Meyer paced the Eagles with 24 points. Alex Moses netted 11 points. Allison O Hanlon totaled 8 points.
Duanesburg knocked down 7 trifectas.

Emily Dingmon took led the offense for the Tomahawks with 7 points. Deandra Gill scored 6 points. Alexis Crossman collected 4 points.

Ichabod Crane knocked off Chatham in a non-league contest, 52-37.

The Riders jumped out to a 13-10 lead after one period and Chatham rallied to tie the game at 24 each at the break. 

Trailing 27-24 just after halftime, after a Chatham three pointer by Marsy Chudy, the Riders used a 19-0 run to break open a tight contest.

Ariana Henry led Ichabod Crane with 16 points, Emma Autrey added 14 and Maeve Braswell 11 points.

Marsy Chudy paced the Panthers with 12 points and Addi Perry collected 9 points

(Watervliet)

 

Hudson remained undefeated on the season by beating Watervliet 86-55 in Patroon Conference action.

The Bluehawks buried 14 three pointers on their way to a wire to wire victory. Gannon Logue netted seven three pointers scoring a game high 27 points. Keith Robinson added 20 points. Hudson improves their record to 10-0. 

Hudson led at every quarter horn by margins of 5, 19, 29 and 31.

Watervliet was led by Jayden Robles 20 points, Jack Sierra chipped in with 16 points. Watervliet is now 9-3 overall.
