I am unable to reach my goals of advancing in my professional career and starting a family while also serving as the Varsity Coach. When I accepted the position three years ago I believed I could balance all of these things effectively and I can not.
I'm sending a heartfelt thank you to our community for everything you've done to keep the team moving forward. Not just for the past three years, but for nearly a decade that I've served in the program. It’s been the privilege of my life to be called Coach. The connections and memories I have gained from this position are priceless.
Special shoutout to my coaching circle, people that taught me the ropes and believed in me: Curt Bailey, Katie Bartone, Tom Geddes, Doug Hallberg, Ray Kearney, Josh Peck, Pat Petty, Ben Pierson, Scott Sabourin, Jerry Smith and Josh Whipple. A big thank you to my work crew for putting up with all of the basketball stuff: Sarah Amedore, Lori Esposito, Angie Lasher, Sue Petrosino, Erica Restifo and Wendy Wood. Can’t forget to thank our biggest fan during this run: my Mom, Mary. Mr. Chandler, Mrs. DeLuca and Mr. O'Connor also gave outstanding support. Another special thank you to Mr. Ruberti and Mr. Shine for their compassion and guidance during this difficult time.
I am still going to serve as the Unified Basketball Coach this season. I will share our schedule in the coming weeks so the community can support an amazing group of kids."
Mohon Proud always,
Graham
