Shaker outlasted Albany 33-29 in a marquee Capital Region basketball tilt.
Shaker used a fourth quarter surge as they eclipsed Albany 9-3 in the closing minutes. After an Ahniysha Jackson three pointer tied the game at 29 with less than two minutes left, Shaker's Jules DeBeatham made three clutch free throws that iced the game.
The Falcons held a small 2-point lead going into the final frame.
The outcome was still in limbo as the teams went to the first half intermission with Albany gaining the upper hand. The game had double digit lead changes between the two clubs.

Mohonasen conquered Ichabod Crane 58-35 on the hardwood of Section 2 basketball.
Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for just 12 points. But, Mohonasen used an impressive first eight minutes and sprinted out to a hefty first quarter lead 9-3. They put together a magnificent defensive effort and took control of the quarter.
Mohonasen dominated the first half and led 25-11. The Mighty Warriors played as a complete unit in the second frame turning a 6-point first quarter lead into a 14-point halftime edge.
The Mighty Warriors were in control at every quarter buzzer by margins of 6, 14, 23, & 23.

Green Tech nosed past Mekeel 75-61 in a non-league tilt.
Green Tech used a monster second half to break open a close game that featured 10 early lead changes and collected the victory. The Eagles outscored the Lions 52-35 after halftime.
Green Tech held a slight 4-point advantage at the start of the fourth quarter. This duel was headed towards an epic finish through the third frame. Green Tech ended the game with authority as they outscored Mekeel by 10-points in crunch time.
