In a hard-fought Patroon Conference matchup, Watervliet emerged victorious with a 48-43 win over Maple Hill. Daheem Wilson led the way for the Cannoneers, contributing 21 points in the contest.

Watervliet orchestrated a late-period rally, outscoring Maple Hill 13-8 in the final minutes to secure the hard-earned victory. The Wildcats had a couple of chances to tie the game in the last minute but couldn't connect on a basket. Daheem Wilson made two clutch free throws with 3.8 seconds left to give the Cannoneers their final margin.

The opening quarter witnessed some offense, with both teams combining for 32 points. However, the second quarter saw a defensive battle, as the teams managed only 12 points, resulting in a tied game at 22-22 heading into the first-half intermission.

The competitiveness continued in the third quarter, with both squads fighting tenaciously, and after twenty-four minutes of play, the game remained deadlocked at 35.

Daheem Wilson was instrumental for Watervliet, leading the offensive charge with 21 points, while Trevor Holloway contributed 11 points, and Jayden Robles added 7 points to the team's total.Watervliet showcased stellar accuracy from the charity line, making 70% of their free throws (7 of 10).

For Maple Hill, Brady Cole led the offensive effort with 14 points, accompanied by Nick Novak's 10 points, and Brody Chevrier and Austin Prest contributing 7 and 6 points, respectively.

Green Tech made their free throws to finish off a tight non-league win over Lansingburgh 66-61. The Flying Eagles made 26 of 32 free throw attempts in the game.

Green Tech opened up a 16-10 first quarter lead, however Lansingburgh bounced back in the second quarter to cut their deficit to one point at the half, 28-27. Green Tech opened up a double digit lead in the third quarter but the Knights finished the frame strong to trail 42-39.

Lansingburgh grabbed the lead mid-way through the final frame but Green Tech attacked the basket and made their free throws to finally pull away in the closing seconds.

Giovanni Johnson scored 21 points to lead Green Tech. Carter Clay added 20 points and Quakeik Smith chipped in with 13 points.

Terrance Allen tallied 20 points for Lansingburgh, Josiah Acevedo netted 12 points.

Mekeel Christian knocked off Redemption Christian 84-54 in Prep League action. The Lions, no longer a part of Section 2 on the boys side, were in control from the start of the contest.

Nykim Taylor led Mekeel with 19 points, Kingston Daley added 15 points and Michael Ezeamama 12 points..
