Maple Hill defeated Coxsackie-Athens 72-63 in a Patroon Conference match-up. Blake Decker and Rian Jewett combined to score 40 points for the Wildcats. 

The game was part of the Patroon Conference Coaches vs Cancer two day event at Columbia Greene Community College.

The Wildcats seemed focused right from the jump and darted in front to gain a significant first quarter lead 20-12. 

Defense reigned supreme in the 2nd quarter as the teams scored only 20 points. The Indians cut their deficit to six points at the half, 29-23.

The Wildcats used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Coxsackie-Athens by 8 points. They continued their scoring run into the start of the fourth quarter as they opened up a 70-47 lead.

Coxsackie-Athens clawed back in the closing minutes of the fourh quarter but time was clearly a factor. 

Maple Hill were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 8, 6, 14, & 9. 


The Wildcats had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Blake Decker and Rian Jewett paced the Wildcats with 20 points.  Benjamin Marra finished with 16 points. Dominic Hirschoff totaled 9 points. 
The Wildcats made 4 buckets from long range. 
Maple Hill shot with first-rate accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 82.8%, 24 of 29. 

Aiden Boehm led the Indians with 18 points. Kane Schrader netted 12 points. Killian Schrader scored 9 points. Timothy Simmons popped in 8 points. Joshua Kiefer picked up 7 points. 
Coxsackie-Athens shot exquisite from the free throw line as they produced 66.7%, 8 of 12.

Bishop Gibbons beat Fonda 86-68 in a showdown of Western Athletic Conference squads. Rodney Parker and Nacier Hundley combined to score 47 points for the victors. 

After a Jackson Atty three pointer gave Fonda a 42-40 lead early in the third quarter, Bishop Gibbons went on a monster run of 29-7 to close out the frame. The Golden Knights outscored Fonda by 18 points coming out of the break and turned a two point halftime lead into a 20 point margin headed into the fourth quarter. Rodney Parker exploded for 15 points in the 3rd quarter.

Bishop Gibbons held a small 3-point lead heading into the second quarter. The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Bishop Gibbons nosing in front. 

Bishop Gibbons led at every period ending horn by margins of 3, 2, 20, & 18. 

Both lineups played an up-tempo style of hoop in this high scoring entertaining match-up. Don't be surprised if both of these teams are being talked about as top contenders when the Class B sectionals brackets get released next month.

Fonda made 9 trifectas. 
Colin Kowalski nailed 3 three-pointers. 
The Braves shot with superb accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 75%, 9 of 12.

Northville slipped past Fort Ann 43-35 at the Sunmark Shootout at the Cool Insuring Arena. Jason Ellsworth led the victors with 21 points. 

Northville were strong out of the gate and sprinted out to a significant first quarter lead 13-7. They put together a magnificent defensive effort and took control of the quarter. After a Fort Ann 9-0 run to grab the 2nd quarter lead Northville closed the half on a 12-4 spurt. 

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half break with Northville gaining the upper hand. 

Northville used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Fort Ann by 4 points. 

The Falcons were in command at every period ending horn by margins of 6, 5, 9, & 8. 

Northville placed three players in double figure scoring. Jason Ellsworth paced Northville with 21 points. Wyatt Sira secured 10 points. Jacob Frank netted 10 points. 

Ben Dinwiddie led Fort Ann with 8 points. Dylan Frost contributed 7 points. Ty Loso totaled 6 points. Tyler Steves popped in 6 points. 
Fort Ann drained 6 trey balls.

Schalmont outlasted La Salle 62-61 in what turned out to be a tremendous clash of Colonial Council sides. The Sabres, who trailed by 22 points in the opening half, took their only lead of the night with three seconds left in the game on an Austin Redmond basket off of a Trent Randle assist.

Sparked by a great team effort in the second half the Sabres outscored the Cadets 41-21 in the final two periods. That was the opposite of the first half when the Cadets sprinted out to a 40-21 lead at the midway point. 

La Salle were strong out of the gate and darted in front to gain a hefty first quarter lead 23-11. 

The Cadets played well in the second period turning a 12-point first quarter lead into a 19-point halftime edge. La Salle's length on the defensive end caused problems early for Schalmont. 

Schalmont used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored La Salle by 10 points. They outscored La Salle 16-6 in the final eight minutes and closed the game on a 12-1 run.

Schalmont had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Jake Sanford paced the Sabres with 17 points. Shane O Dell racked up 15 points. Tyler Pepicelli poured in 10 points. Trent Randle dropped 8 points. 
The Sabres connected on 9 trey balls.

Schalmont shot with superb accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 69.2%, 9 of 13.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half break with Mechanicville nudging ahead. 

The Red Raiders used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Schoharie by 5 points. 

Mechanicville were on top at every quarter buzzer by margins of 4, 3, 8, & 11. 

Josh Germain paced the Red Raiders with 24 points. Anthony Attala powered in 13 points. Tyler Dion collected 9 points.
