Shaker broke open a tight contest in the third quarter outscoring Schenectady 28-9 to pull away for a 72-40 victory.

Shaker led at all quarter horns by scores of 4, 6, 25, and 32.

Ryan Church led the Blue Bison with 22 points, including six three pointers. Melvin Brown added 20 points, Bless Demand 12 points and Anthony Tieiji 10 points.

Christopher Patrick scored 11 points for Schenectady.

Mechanciville pulled away from Stillwater in the fourth quarter to secure a 49-36 victory in a Wasaren League battle between two of the top small school teams in the area.

Stillwater ran out to a 13-5 first quarter lead but the Red Raiders fought back to close their deficit to 19-13 at the break. Mechanicville stormed out of the locker room, outscoring Stillwater 16-8 in the third quarter grabbing a 29-27 lead heading into the final frame.

Mechanicville out shot Stillwater 20-9 in the fourth quarter in the victory.

Tanner Eiseman led Mechanicville with 17 points, Molly DiSiena chipped in with 13 points, Elle Richardson 8 points, Olivia Dowd 7 points.

Maddie Chatt poured in 15 points for Stillwater, Andi Luskie and Emercyn Patenoude 9 points each.

Ichabod Crane rallied in the second half to knock off Berne-Knox 57-53. Quinn Rapport put forth a strong offensive game for the group that came out on top with 19 points.

The Riders manufactured a great group effort with a late push as they out-shot the Bulldogs 17-11 as regulation came to an end. That final push proved to be the difference.

The Bulldogs held a modest 2-point edge at the beginning of the fourth quarter. This test of two ultra competitive teams was on full display through the first twenty-four minutes of action.

Focused play in the second half helped as the Riders outscored the Bulldogs 32-21 in the final two frames. That was contradictory to the first half when the Bulldogs built a 32-25 lead at the midway point.

Ichabod Crane held a slim 2-point margin at the start of the second quarter.

Berne-Knox performed well in the second quarter turning a 2-point first quarter deficit into a 7-point halftime edge.

Ichabod Crane maximized their play in the third quarter and outscored Berne-Knox by 5 points.

Quinn Rapport showed the way for the Riders with 19 points. Jack Mullins netted 13 points. Dominic Pelizza had 9 points. Tyler Van Allen popped in 9 points.

Berne-Knox had a triplet in double figure scoring. AJ Wright put forth a strong offensive game for the Bulldogs with 24 points. Dayne Coates racked up 12 points. Blake Shaver collected 10 points. Shane Kirker scored 7 points.
Berne-Knox shot stellar from the stripe as they made good on 75%, 9 of 12.

Despite an all-conference performance by Baileigh Briski of Coxsackie-Athens, the Riverhawks succumbed to defeat against Maple Hill 68-66. Briski scored a game high 35 points. Addi Loszynski and Sydney Rogers combined to score 45 points for the Wildcats as they opened Patroon Conference play with a victory.

The Riverhawks held a slim 2-point margin at the beginning of the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats manufactured a great group effort with a rally as they won the final quarter 20-16,

Coxsackie-Athens used an impressive first eight minutes and darted in front to gain an ample first quarter lead 20-14. Yet, The Wildcats recovered in the second quarter and outscored Coxsackie-Athens by 5 points.

The contest was a toss up as the teams went to the first half breather with Coxsackie-Athens grabbing a slight lead.

The Wildcats had a trio of players in double figure scoring. Addi Loszynski led Maple Hill with 26 points. Sydney Rogers contributed 19 points. Kate Brodzinski had 14 points.
The Wildcats drilled 9 baskets from downtown.
Sydney Rogers made 5 three-pointers. Kate Brodzinski added 3.

Baileigh Briski sparked the offense for the Riverhawks with 35 points. Riley Sitcer splashed in 14 points.
Coxsackie-Athens shot with great fundamentals from the charity line as they showed out at 71.4%, 10 of 14.
