Maple Hill used a balanced attack as they knocked off Hudson 51-39 to capture the Patroon Conference title. 
 
The Wildcats relied on their steady second half play as they separated from the Bluehawks after the half.

Hudson and Maple Hill were all square after one period of play. Maple Hill jumped out to a 10-0 lead then the Bluehawks went on their own 10-0 run to close out the quarter.
 
Maple Hill played as a complete unit in the second period turning a tied game into a 4-point halftime edge. 

Paige Bleau and Lauryn Smith paced the Wildcats with 9 points each. Callie Haller tallied 8 points. Karysn Berger accumulated 8 points. Natasha Strock racked up 7 points. 
The Wildcats buried 5 hoops from deep. 
Paige Bleau made 3 three-pointers. 

Deja Beauford led the Bluehawks with 14 points. Shayna Coppersmith secured 8 points.

Waterford pulled away from Granville 64-50 in a hard fought Class C quarter final tilt. T.J. Kelley and Michael Talavera Jr combined to score 46 points for the victors. Waterford advances to the final four to play Fort Plain at the Cool Insuring Arena on 3/3/20 at 5 p.m. 

Waterford broke open a one point game leading late in the third quarter, 41-40, and outscored Granville 10-0 to close out the frame and took a 51-40 lead. 

Waterford were strong out of the gate and played excellent team basketball on their way to a decent first quarter lead 22-12. At one point the Fordians led 17-4. Yet, The Golden Horde rallied in the second quarter and outscored Waterford by 8 points.

The opening two quarters were ultra competitive as the teams went to the first half locker room break with Waterford gaining the upper hand. 

The Fordians were in command at every quarter buzzer by margins of 10, 2, 11, & 14. Thet never trailed in the contest. 

Waterford placed three players in double figure scoring. T.J. Kelley led Waterford with 26 points. Michael Talavera Jr powered in 20 points. Evan Fairclough poured in 11 points. 

Joshua Nelson paced the Golden Horde with 19 points. Jarett Williams added 12 points. Joshua Oakman tallied 7 points. T.J. Wilson Jr. sank 6 points. 
Granville made 5 buckets from beyond the arc. 
The Golden Horde shot with exceptional form at the free throw line as they made 81.8%, 9 of 11.

Gloversville outlasted Queensbury 59-55 to advance in the Class A sectionals. Dante Bouchard led the Dragons with 31 points. Six of those points came late in the game on back to back three pointers that turned a 54-50 deficit into a 56-54 lead with under 20 seconds left in the game.
 
The Dragons move on to play Mekeel Christian in the Class A semi finals in Glens Falls on 3/5/30 at 6:30 p.m.

Focused play in the second half helped as the Dragons outscored the Spartans 34-22 in the final two frames. That was different than the first half when the Spartans used excellent synergy to grab a 33-25 lead at the midway point. Queensbury was in full control of the opening two quarters as they played stifling defense and were efficient on offense.

Gloversville had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Dante Bouchard paced the Dragons with 31 points. Joseph Rowback contributed 15 points. Kadyn Ruggeri had 10 points. 
The Dragons connected on 5 baskets from downtown. 
Dante Bouchard made 3 three-pointers. 
Gloversville shot with superb accuracy from the charity stripe as they made 81.8%, 18 of 22. 

Queensbury had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Bryce Bleibtrey led the Spartans with 14 points. Sean Collins powered in 12 points. Jason Rodriguez added 11 points. Nathan Johnson scored 7 points. 
Queensbury buried 9 buckets from jimmer range. 
Sean Collins nailed 3 three-pointers.

Niskayuna tripped up Bethlehem 68-42 in a Class AA sectional match up. Ethan St. Lucia led the winners with 29 points. The Silver Warriors advance to the final four and play Shenendehowa on Tuesday March 3, 2020.

Niskayuna had great energy right from the tip off and played excellent team basketball on their way to a nice first quarter lead 24-5. They put together a magnificent defensive effort and took control of the quarter. The Silver Warriors started the game on a 16-0 run and never looked back. 

Niskayuna jumped out to a comfortable margin at the break 36-16. 

The Eagles used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Niskayuna by 6 points. Bethlehem cut their deficit to 12 early in the fourth quarter but couldn't get any closer. 

The Silver Warriors managed to be ahead at every quarter buzzer by margins of 19, 20, 14, & 26. 

Niskayuna had a trio of players players in double figure scoring. Ethan St. Lucia paced the Silver Warriors with 29 points. Kenyon Coleman scored 12 points. Darian Parker poured in 10 points. Sean St. Lucia tallied 8 points. 
Niskayuna buried 7 baskets from downtown. 
Ethan St. Lucia nailed 4 three-pointers. 
The Silver Warriors shot with superb accuracy from the free throw line as they made 73.3%, 11 of 15. 

Eric Signor led the Eagles with 23 points. Zachary Zonca poured in 5 points. William Davis scored 5 points.

Lansingburgh cruised to the Class A semi-finals with a win over Hudson Falls 83-48. The Knights will take on Averill Park on Thursday, March 5 at the Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls.

Lansingburgh had great energy right from the tip off and sprinted out to a decent first quarter lead 22-13. 

The Knights opened up a sizable halftime advantage of 46-23. 

Lansingburgh were on top at every period ending horn by margins of 9, 23, 32, & 35. 

Lansingburgh placed four players in double figure scoring. Scott Teta led the Knights with 15 points. K.J. Allison added 14 points. Vinny Tario tallied 12 points. Isaiah Knight sank 11 points. 
The Knights knocked down 8 baskets from long distance. 
Scott Teta made 3 three-pointers. 

Jonathan Beagle paced the Tigers with 24 points. Benjamin Swartz secured 7 points. 
The Tigers shot with sterling accuracy from the free throw line as they produced 78.9%, 15 of 19.
