(Glens Falls, NY)
-In a game where Lake George trailed at the end of the first three quarter buzzers they finished the game ahead at the only buzzer that mattered, winning a hard fought game vs Hoosick Falls 48-45 to capture the Class C title. A Cameron Orr backdoor cut and basket, with four minutes left in the game, off a great feed from Chris Becker gave the Warriors a 45-43 lead they would hold on to until the final whistle. It was their first lead since early in the first quarter when they went ahead 4-2.
(Cameron Orr go ahead basket)
-The game was eerily similar to last year's sectional championship between these two teams, which Lake George won, as with just over four minutes left in the 2017-18 game the score was 45-43 Lake George. Exactly the same score and almost identical game time as this year!
-Hoosick Falls playing without injured star player Tristan Williams, throughout the sectionals, executed a wonderful game plan on slowing down the Warriors which beat them up in an earlier season match-up 55-30. Jon Kempf led the Panthers with 18 points, Max Kipp added 14 points, and Isiah Burnett 10 points.
-Chris Becker led Lake George with 16 points and was named the Class C tournament MVP. Alex Leonelli added 11 points.
