CBA uses strong 2nd half defense to pull away from Shaker in Suburban Council action.

Game notes:

-CBA took a 1-point lead after the first quarter (11-10). Neither team had a lead over 2 points the whole quarter.

-CBA opened up a 5 point lead early in the 2Q after a Justin Caulfield three pointer. Shaker quickly regained the lead after back to back three pointers by Connor Mchugh. The Brothers of CBA got the lead back but then Shaker’s Sloan Seymour hit back to back three pointers helping Shaker take a 4 point lead into the break (31-27).

-Drew Signor and Pryce Wasula of CBA started to find some space in the paint and the Brothers outscored the Blue Bison 22-11 in the 3Q giving them a 49-42 lead.

-Shaker’s Connor Mchugh scored with just under 4:00 left in the game to bring the Blue Bison within in 2 points (49-47), capping off a 5-0 run. That would be Shaker’s only basket of the final quarter and that's as close as they would get the rest of the game. CBA made some free throws down the stretch to win 58-48.
