South Glens Falls won a cliff-hanger versus Mohonasen 45-44 in an early season non-league match up.

The Bulldogs produced a last period rally getting the better of the Mighty Warriors 19-8 in the closing minutes. They survived this tough encounter as Mohonasen's last second shot didn't connect.

Offensive and defensive adjustments in the latter part of the game were a key as the Bulldogs outscored the Mighty Warriors 30-18 in the final two quarters. That was the opposite of the first half when the Mighty Warriors sprinted out to a 26-15 lead at the midway point.

The Mighty Warriors bolted from opening whistle and rushed out to a decent first quarter lead 15-9. They held a 26-15 margin at the half and 36-26 cushion heading into the fourth quarter.
 
With Mohonasen holding on to a two point lead late in the game, South Glens Falls' Brock Killian connected on a three point play to give them the lead. After a Jack Gutowski bucket to extend the Bulldogs lead to three points in the final minute, Luke Paolino connected on a game tying three pointer with seconds left.
 
Gutowski came up clutch again as he nailed one of two free throws to secure the win for South Glens Falls.

Brady Smith led the Bulldogs with 14 points. Ryan Fitzsimmons netted 12 points. Jack Gutowski bagged 8 points.

Luke Paolino sparked the offense for the Mighty Warriors with 20 points. Tracy Battle secured 16 points. Carter Bullinger added 6 points.
The Mighty Warriors drilled 9 baskets from behind the three point line.
Luke Paolino nailed 6 three-pointers.

Averill Park outlasted Queensbury 57-54 in the season opener for both squads. Ethan Nardacci sparked the offense for the Warriors with 19 points.

With the teams tied at the end of regulation play the match-up went to overtime where Averill Park outperformed Queensbury 9-6. 

Averill Park bolted from opening whistle and took hold of the ball game on their way to an ample first quarter lead 15-9.

The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half recess with Averill Park grabbing a slight lead.

Both squads fought through the first twenty-four minutes tied at 33. The Spartans capitalized on gritty play in the third quarter and outscored Averill Park by 4 points.

Ethan Nardacci led the Warriors with 19 points. Jacob Phelps collected 13 points. Justin Matthews bagged 9 points. Declan Flanigan sank 8 points.
Averill Park drained 6 trey balls.

The Spartans placed three in double figure scoring. Nisaiah Maldonado led the offense for the Spartans with 11 points. Mark Huffaker splashed in 10 points. Kasigh Gooden collected 10 points. Chase Baker tallied 9 points. Zavry Ward sank 7 points.

Greenville defeated Ichabod Crane 56-14 in non-league play. Bryn Fitzmaurice led the Spartans with 20 points.

Greenville maximized their potential in the second half and cruised to the victory.

The Spartans were strong out of the gate and rushed out to a nice first quarter lead 18-4. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and were in the drivers seat throughout the period.

Greenville found themselves in a great position at the midway point ahead 31-8.

The Spartans were out in front at all quarter stoppage by margins of 14, 23, 37, & 42. 
 
Greenville will be a strong threat to contend in the Patroon Conference and in Class B this season while Ichabod is trying to replace almost 60+ points a game, from last season, lost to graduation and a transfer. With no Seniors on the roster the young Riders will look to improve throughout the season.

Bryn Fitzmaurice took control of the offense for the Spartans with 20 points. Charlotte Dawson powered in 12 points. Piper O'Hare poured in 8 points. Emily Smith totaled 7 points.
Greenville made 5 trifectas.

Mohonasen used a fourth quarter rally to knock off Ballston Spa 46-43 in non-league action. Isabella Petrocci helped the cause for the group that came out on top with 22 points.

Mohonasen went off in a crunch time late push getting the better of the Scotties 22-10 as time wound down. Clutch play down the stretch, on both ends of the court, was the key to the victory.

Both teams scratched and clawed to score the ball in the opening quarter as they combined for only 12 points. But, Ballston Spa were strong out of the gate and took hold of the ball game on their way to a decent first quarter lead 9-3. They put together an imposing effort guarding the hoop and grabbed control of the frame.

The two squads struggled to grab a foothold as the teams went to the first half stoppage with Ballston Spa out in front.

Ballston Spa used a tough hard-nosed effort in the third quarter and outscored Mohonasen by 5 points.

Isabella Petrocci showed the way for Mohonasen with 22 points. Caitlyn Richmond added 11 points. Payton Whipple tallied 8 points.
Mohonasen made 7 baskets from behind the three point line.
